California law changed in Jan 2012 allowing anyone with a note from a medical doctor, no surgery required, to legally change their records to reflect a different gender. Walt Heyer will be in studio to discuss his personal experience with this.

California law changed in Jan 2012 allowing anyone with a note from a medical doctor no surgery required. The Dr. completes a simple form that says this person birth record should be changed as an accommodation for the person's desire to change genders.

Just pay $395.00 file for a court date and the Superior Court judge will authorize the birth record to be completely removed from any California records as if the person never existed.
